Percusión Gigante

Hello every one!  Today I got to write about this great phenomenon:  "Percusión Gigante".  There is this certified Guinness  giant percussion exposed on my town since September 2 of this year.

The author of this phenomenon has been made by the sculptor and minor percussion player, Roberto A. Cortés.  I went to that exposition with my father, a great minor percussion player too.  He was so amaze with the exposition, asking how it was made and stuff.  There's some pictures.

The "Pandero Gigante" or Giant Tambourine is the one certified by Guinness as the  World Biggest Tambourine on earth.

This is Giant "Girl-Güiro".  Can you see the original size besides it?

This is "Boy-Güiro" .

"Giant Conga"

"Dominican Tambora" or Side Drum

"Shékere"

Daddy is happy, so is Neyleen!
Neyleen, Annie (my baby) and my Dad. Behind is the Guinness, certified tambourine as the Biggest  Worldwide.

You can visit, read, learn and even touch those percussions (which it is not allowed in most of all museums). The exposition is located on the José Ignacio Quintón museum on Caguas, PR.  This is all for now, I hope you enjoyed this blog post.  Bye!
